Description
72 x 60 oil on canvas I completed in the late 90s.

The story.........My artwork and style has changed over the past ten years. This was not intended and sure was not the plan. I was painting for a Nashville gallery when this one was painted and I completed many. Most of these painting were so large that I had to hang the unpainted canvas on a bedroom wall. At times, I had every wall in each bedroom filled with canvas and curing art. I had finally made it I thought, painting morning, noon and night. Well.....then came the the reality of life. The gallery had six of my latest and I had the same in bad checks. I was not only angry, but even more hurt that this could be done. With promises broken and dreams shattered, I stop creating the life I loved. Many years would pass before I touched a brush again. I could not paint as I did before, my mind refused to repeat. My new style was warped and bent and upside down at times, not the same as before. It has been five years since I returned to the brush and its time to give this a chance again. I call it a test to see who may like, before I chance it again.
This is the view I have each day and the reason I live where I do. This is a beautiful place and I love it so. It is my home, Tennessee.

What a wonderful description! It is reflective of many of my own experiences. I appreciate the pain you went through when you were "robbed." It happened to me, too. This painting is stunning. I can imagine the power it must have in it's full size! It is wonderful that you have returned. f/w/v

I thank you so much AnnaJo!! This was huge when framed. The frame was a foot wide which made the total 7' x 8'. I loved painting this size!
